Ready to Apply?

Step One: Fill out your summer staff application!
Please ensure that you complete the appropriate application. Read below for more information on application requirements:

First-Year Staff Application: If you are graduating from high school in May of 2027 and will be 18 by the start of training on May 9th or you are a college-aged student who graduated in or before May 2026, you are eligible for Summer Staff 2027.

Return Staff Application: If you were hired as a staff member on the 2026 Summer Staff team and you are seeking to reapply for the 2027 Summer Staff team, please complete the Return Summer Staff Application.

Step Two: Online Recommendation Forms

First-Year Summer Staff applicants will be required to have recommendation forms completed on their behalf. If you were a member of FFA or FCCLA, one of your recommenders should be from your FFA or FCCLA advisor, if possible. The additional recommendation form should be completed by someone other than a family member.

Online Recommendation Forms will become available to you upon submission of your application. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure recommenders complete the Online Recommendation Form.

Step Three: Schedule Your Interview

Upon submission of your Summer Staff Application, you will receive an email to RSVP to an interview.

Interview Dates

Interviews will be conducted through Google Meets on the following dates:

Saturday, December 5th, 2026

Saturday December 12th, 2026

Saturday January 9th, 2027

Saturday January 23rd, 2027

Saturday February 6th, 2027

Saturday February 20th, 2027

Note: You will be able to pick a time slot for your preferred date upon completion of your application.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to schedule your interview.

Note: You are required to attend an interview. If for any reason you are unable to make one of the interviews or if you have any questions, please contact cjordan@gaaged.org.

Step Four: Complete a Summer Staff Introduction Video
All Summer Staff applicants are required to submit a short video, at least one minute in length, that gives us a glimpse of who you are. Videos can be as creative and humorous as you would like to make them. Upon submitting an application you will receive an email with more guidelines for the video.

Step Five: Complete your summer staff application

One submitted 2027 Summer Staff Application
One submitted PDF copy of your most up-to-date resume
Two Completed Recommendation Forms (not required for Return Staff applicants)
One completed Summer Staff Introduction Video
Must attend 1 Interview (see scheduled interview dates)

*Note: Applications will not be deemed complete until all of the above documents have been obtained.

Step Six: Mark your calendars!
The first round of hiring decisions will take place in February 2027!
